She discovered pole dancing in 2005, and instantly became addicted when she realized she was able to combine strength from gymnastics and grace with the expression of dance. Faith Daniels

It was love at first spin. She has spent the last 4 years studying the art of pole. In December 2009 Faith had to undergo shoulder surgery. She spent the last year recovering and building On Pointe Fitness through which she helps her clients reach their personal fitness and life goals through the art of pole dance.

She began formal dance training at age 25, received a dance scholarship at age 31, went on to perform professionally, and placed 2nd in the USPDF WCR 2010. Primarily a self-trained pole dancer, Shelly has used her experience and training as a Pilates, fitness and dance instructor to design and teach her own style of pole dancing. She operates her business, Shelly’s Pole Studio, in San Francisco, California.

I began teaching pole dancing in Massachusetts about 6 years ago but currently live in NYC and teach at NY Pole Dancing. I’m proud that I’ve been chosen to participate in several competitions with the US Pole Dance Federation and also enjoy doing various other performances throughout New York City. Another accomplishment that brings me great joy is recently becoming a Registered Nurse. I enjoy teaching others the art of pole dancing because it encourages fitness in a fun and innovating way. I get chills when I see my students master new moves, conquer fears, and exceed their own expectations.

Having an extensive background in gymnastics and dance, she tries to creatively incorporate these skills on the pole. One of her favorite qualities of pole dancing is that each woman can find her own unique style. Currently teaching at Pole Waxers University, Heidi is a strong advocate for confidence building through pole dancing. She is honored and thrilled to be competing in her 2nd USPDF competition!

Karol’s pole dancing obsession began in 2005 when she purchased an X-Pole and began self teaching herself and helping others through videos on YouTube. She started competing in 2008 and currently holds the titles of; Charlotte’s Poleapalooza 2008, USPDF East Coast Winner 2009, and USPDF’s Miss Sexy 2010. Karol loves performing and teaching others to find confidence and strength through pole dancing.

Leigh Ann Reilly

I’ve competed in springboard diving, track, and kickboxing. I bring my background in entertainment, acrobatics, and martial arts to the pole room.” She started pole dancing at 19 and opened, BeSpun, at 25. Leigh Ann has competed twice in USPDF, created her own series of instructional DVDs, produces Pole Show LA the largest pole danceing review show in the country and has trained some of the most notable american pole dancers and champions.

She has been Pole Dancing for over 3 years and her style brings grace, strength, and flexibility to the pole. Mina has been featured in the LA Times for her pole dancing and has graced the cover of Pole 2 Pole magazine in December 2009. She is also a Brand Director for Bad Kitty Pole Wear and just launched a new clothing line made just for pole dancers called “Pole Fit.” Mina currently teaches at Evolve Dance Studio and Allure Dance Studio in Los Angeles.

Denise is honored to be participating in the USPDF 2011 pole competition. She competed in the USPDF 2009 competition and ranked in the top 5. She is currently pro-status and is passionate about teaching and empowering women on the pole. She has conducted pole workshops in numerous states. Denise loves the mixture of athleticism and the passion behind the different dance styles. She is extremely excited to share the stage with all of the talented women participating in this year’s competition.
