With 12 years of formal dance training, the last four years on the pole have emerged as the ultimate self-expression for Chalese, AKA “Lucky”. Her students and coworkers at Brassy Butterfly have watched as she constantly evolves-sharing her skills and love for the pole. Additionally she is a full-time student who is pursuing a degree in Chiropractic medicine. Her studies there and her love of pole dancing tie together as she lives the reality of fitness and good health.

Michelle Stanek

Michelle Stanek, NY

Michelle’s early years were dedicated to intensive dance training, with camping, bonfire building and obligatory youthful rebellions thrown in. After studying dance and art history in college, she decided to follow her art career ambitions. Earned an MA. Became a professor-curator-producer. After one pole class at Crunch, dance launched back to #1. Michelle earned first place in Polesque and East Meets West’s “Pole Drama” and is so grateful for this extraordinarily expressive art form that revived her love of dance, movement, fitness and life.

Here is something from the heart. I love competitions because of the intense anticipation and the opportunity to be inspired by all the amazing competitors out there. It is a huge honor to share a stage with these strong and beautiful athletes. I have met some of my dearest friends and inspirations through competitions and these women have helped me grow into the dancer I am today. VIVA POLE.
