Brook Notary is a critically-acclaimed choreographer, with over 20 years of experience teaching various forms of dance and movement, including contemporary modern, ballet, jazz and Pilates.15 years as artistic director of critically-acclaimed modern dance troupe, Notario Dance Company. She has choreographed for a diverse array of high-profile clients, including celebrities, musical artists, corporations, dance companies and educational institutions. Notable high-profile clients include Usher, Harrison Ford and Liz Claiborne. She has proven herself as one of the most versatile and provocative artists in the contemporary dance world. In addition to choreographing, she has performed professionally as a modern dancer, a nationally ranked rhythmic gymnast, an aerialist in shows such as De La Guarda (NYC), and a touring captain and performer in Cirque Ingenieux. This diverse background has charged her vision for The Pulse Project. She has been artistic director/choreographer for the pulse project for 4 years. She has sold out 8 shows and has obtained worldwide recognition as for creating new genre in dance called Industrial Movement. Brook earned her MFA at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where she attended on a full Dean’s scholarship. Her work has been regaled by PBS, The New York Times, and The Village Voice as a highly sought-after choreographer. Brook is a 4 time judge and workshop instructor with the USPDF.
Brynlyn, a native and current resident of Albuquerque, NM, is the owner of Southwest Pole Dancing in Albuquerque, NM. She was part of the New York Pole Dancing team for over seven years and is a Master Climb & Spin, Inc. Instructor. Brynlyn has been a featured pole dancer for Yummy Tummy Shapewear, The Glass House, New York Cares, NY Pole Pink Fridays, regular Schtick a Pole In It appearances, The Pulse Project, Envy Nightlife at Route 66 Casino and SW Pole Performers. Her competition credits include the US Pole Dance Federation Amateur & Pro Divisions. She also appears in the movie, Skinja the web series, Enter the Dojo Show and “Where’s Norma Now”. Industrial dance credits include Capezio and BedHead. Favorite Musical Theatre credits include K.C. in “My Favorite Year” at the Adobe Theatre and Val Clark in “A Chorus Line” with Landmark Musicals. Leigh Ann Reilly is regarded as one of the world’s top pole dancers and a pioneer of the pole dance movement. Leigh Ann is known for her sexy style, mesmerizing performances and her ability to mentor and train her students into top performers. Leigh Ann has a popular YouTube channel which currently has over 26,000 subscribers in which she travels the world teaching pole dancing and performing. She is owner of Los Angeles’ premier pole dance studio, BeSpun, which opened in 2006. She is also the owner, creator and produces of the world famous Pole Show LA, pole dancing’s biggest stage production that recently crossed into mainstream entertainment with back to back sold out shows at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA and The Joint at the Hard Rock Las Vegas. Leigh Ann is very familiar with the USPDF organization having competed herself and placing in the 2011 championship. Leigh Ann joins the USPDF judges with over 10 years of relevant industry experience not only as a performer but as successful business woman in the industry.
Nancy Noreman has been in the Fitness Industry for over 25 years. She has been a Fitness Model, Supplement Company Owner, Private Gym Owner, Media Host, ACE & BFT Trainer, conducted various interviews and written many fitness articles. Nancy has always been fascinated with the beauty of the human body, which prompted her to study art and get a degree in Art/Design along with a Masters in Education. Nancy has always pursued careers relating to fitness. Nancy also owned a small clothing company where she designed clothing for exotic dancers, fitness models and fitness competitors. In addition to her other jobs, Nancy is a “Dance Mom,” which she considers the hardest job of them all! Nancy fell in love with Pole Dancing since the time she was introduced to it. Nancy is mesmerized by the control and talent it requires to execute these movements.
Natasha Wang is considered one of the most influential and popular pole artists working today. Based in Los Angeles, California and born-and-bred in Austin, TX, Natasha is a true “pole citizen of the world” and spends a large part of the year traveling around the globe as an in-demand teacher, performer and competition judge. In 2014, Natasha won “Female Performance Artist of the Year” and “Inspirational Artist of the Year” at the inaugural PWN (Pole World News) Awards. As a competitive pole athlete, she has taken home the titles of IPC Ultimate Champion 2013, Pole Art 2012 Runner-Up, US Pole Dance Champion 2011, USPDF West Coast Champion 2010, California Pole Dance Champion 2010, and East Meets West Miss Pole-AM 2010.
Michelle Stanek is an internationally-recognized pole dance performer and instructor known for her signature “sexy contemporary” style that blends sensual movement with the grace, extension and control of her classical dance background. An early competitive athlete, Michelle won 5 out of the 6 competitions she entered including the 2012 United States Pole Dance Champion title (USPDF). Her industry-changing performances are notable for their movement innovation, artistry and fluidity. A passionate and dedicated instructor, Michelle co-created elevatED: pole dance fitness and flexibility teacher trainings, to help instructors provide informed, thoughtful experiences to their students. Michelle travels the world through Poles On Tour, training instructors, offering her signature workshops, judging competitions, and performing. She is a proud Bad Kitty brand ambassador and instructor at Body & Pole in New York City, where she is also the pole department manager and the curator of The Wall at Body & Pole—a unique space to showcase contemporary visual artists in the city. Prior to her full-time pole dance career, Michelle earned a B.A. and M.A. in Art History, working at AIGA, the professional association for design, Pratt Institute and the Assisi Institute. When not immersed in dance, she loves exploring the NYC art scene, dancing with her adoring and adored husband and a good rooftop pool.
JoAnna Ross is the producer/creator of the long running comedy and pole dancing show Schtick A Pole In IT. She started her career as a dancer on Broadway in the original cast of Footloose, national commercials, MACY’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Letterman, and the Rosie O’Donnell Show(I am dating myself!) JoAnna made the natural leap from professional dancer to comedienne 10 years ago when she lived in LA and was teaching yoga. She re entered the dance world on the set of Skinja where she was a choreographer.
Whether it’s a performance or competition Antoine (Antoine du Pole) has always enjoyed being in front of an audience. He trained as a gymnast for many years, but quit in high school to focus his attention to his classical music training. For over 15 years Antoine performed with orchestras and other musical ensembles, but he maintained his passion for acrobatic movement and craved a new artistic outlet. Antoine began pole training 6 years ago and found that his years of gymnastics allowed for a smooth transition to pole. He has been a pole fitness instructor for 4 years, and currently teaches and trains at Pole Position Dance and Fitness in White Plains, NY. As a pole competitor, Antoine placed 2nd at the Atlantic Pole Championship (2013). He performs regularly throughout NYC, and is a monthly featured pole performer on both fixed and aerial poles at Duane Park– NYC’s Classiest Burlesque Supper Club. Antoine is a Mighty Grip junior athlete and sales representative, and received the title of “Face of Mighty Grip” for 2015.
